Looking forward to February
February often arrives quietly. The excitement of the new year has softened, winter still lingers, but there are gentle signs that the season is beginning to shift.
Across the British countryside, snowdrops continue to appear, delicate and resilient, brightening hedgerows and woodland edges. Days are slowly lengthening, the light feels a little softer, and there’s a sense of anticipation for what’s to come.
The season around us
This time of year is still very much winter, but it’s a hopeful one. Cold mornings, misty fields, and frosty air sit alongside the promise of early spring. Birds begin to sing a little earlier, garden plans start to take shape, and kitchen gardens are quietly being considered - what to grow, where to plant, what this year might bring.
February invites us to notice these small moments and enjoy the comfort of being indoors while nature slowly wakes up outside.
Scents for the season
February sits gently between winter and spring, and this is reflected in the scents that feel most at home right now - fresh, calming notes that hint at new growth, alongside a small nod to lingering winter comfort.
Fresh, green, and softly floral scents are ideal as the season begins to shift:
- Botanical Garden – light, leafy, and garden-inspired
- Gardenia – soft, floral, and elegant
- Fresh Fig – green, subtly sweet, and softly earthy
- Sea Salt – airy and fresh, with a coastal feel
- White Lavender – calming and spa-like, perfect for creating a sense of peace and clarity
These scents feel bright and restorative, mirroring early spring days, lengthening light, and the first signs of life returning to the countryside.
A few deeper, comforting scents remain for now, perfect for colder evenings:
- Pumpkin Patch – warm, spiced, and gently sweet, evoking autumn walks and cosy evenings (We only have a limited number of products left, and once they’re gone, they won’t be returning, until next Autumn.)
- Cashmere – soft, comforting, and beautifully smooth, like wrapping up in your favourite knit
- Fireside – rich, fresh, and warming, reminiscent of glowing embers and quiet nights in
Together, these fragrances reflect February beautifully, a quiet balance between fresh beginnings and comforting familiarity as winter slowly gives way to spring.
